Graduate Levels
The SCENTSOURCE™ ecosystem formally distinguishes between evaluator authority and expert-level mastery. All designations require completion of the compulsory Graduate Level I course; no Graduate Level I course waivers are available.

Graduate Level I
THE SCENTSOURCE™ ACADEMY
The SCENTSOURCE™ Academy is a 4-day, 32-hr, "Fundamentals of Olfaction & Olfactics" Boot Camp that provides a comprehensive background of cross-disciplinary science history, philosophy, nomenclature, and definitions upon which the phenomenon of "nose-sight" is based. This course is specially developed to provide the 21st-century practitioner with the necessary foundations in olfaction to allow working from first principles, and serves as the springboard for further practical training experiences with our SCENTMasters and SCENTCertifiers.

Graduate Level II
Specialized Practitioner Training Opportunities
Immersive practical training in the SCENTSOURCE™ odor-based detection approach, using personal and other available dogs under time-stipulated tutelage and supervision of a SCENTMaster.

Graduate Level III
3-Month Practical Training Course
Specialized training delivered at a SCENTMaster/Certifier designated or approved facility. Prior Odor University attendance, plus other verified experience and performance requirements, may be required.

Graduate Level IV
6-Month Advanced Practical Training Course
An advanced practical-and-theoretical course preparing graduates for instructor-track qualification under the SCENTSOURCE™ paradigm.

Advanced Practitioner Training
Specialist Teacher Training
Level I + 3× Level II + specialist teacher training delivered at a SCENTSOURCE Academy designated or approved facility. Prior detector-K9 school attendance — or verified equivalent experience — is required.
